When God Restores What Seems Lost
Our Story
Our journey began all the way back in 1998. From the very first moment we met, we shared a rare, soul-deep connection like we had never experienced with anyone else before. It was an instant attraction, but an unexplainable internal fear of our hearts coming together that we did not know how to handle or cherish. We were drawn to each other so intensely, yet lacked the wisdom to protect what we had. It was passion, it was promise, and it took us decades to realize it was God whispering over our lives all along, orchestrating a love story far deeper than we could have ever imagined.
Yet even with that intense connection, our road became deeply painful. Over the years, we lost our way. We didn't know how to honor God or protect the gift He had given us, and we walked through agonizing seasons of unfaithfulness, disrespect, and dishonesty. The weight of our choices eventually broke us down until at times we both wanted to walk away forever, but this time Robert actually did walk away.
When every last ounce of my hope vanished, God got a hold of me. I made the choice to obey God and to choose His will over my own and step into the gap to stand on God’s promises for the restoration of this marriage.
In our deepest brokenness, God began a quiet miracle. He reignited our hearts, dismantled our old wounds, and taught us how to truly love—unconditionally, sacrificially, and with a renewed, holy passion. He didn't just mend a broken vow; He resurrected a dead heart and rekindled a love sweeter than when we first fell in love.
Today, our lives are radically changed. Our marriage is made new in Christ, and we are made new in Him.
